The Maestro Layer Definition editor caches the schema/feature class/property
listings. If you have the layer editor open when you do changes to the
underlying feature source, the changes won't propagate to the open layer
editor as it still holds the old schema information. You have to close and
reopen that layer editor for the new schema information to come through.
