Try checking the top of http://download.osgeo.org/mapguide/releases/2.2.0/RC4/ubuntu9/mginstallubuntu.sh. It should be setting up links for ldap as well.

Subject: [mapguide-users] RE: Unable to compile MGOS 2.2 on Linux (newbie)

I've tried right now to install the rpm package without deps:

rpm -Uvh --nodeps mapguideopensource-httpd-2.2.0-5625.i386.rpm

But when I launch the httpd I get this error:

cd /usr/local/mapguideopensource-2.2.0/webtierextensions/apache2/bin
httpd: Syntax error on line 64 of
Cannot load
into server: libldap-2.3.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory

What does it mean? Can I solve this "by hand" or I have to install something
that is missed?
