[mapguide-users] MG 2.1 ServerConfig.ini Settings Check

http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/ServerconfigWebConfigIni#ServerMaxConnections

Three questions if anyone can help with some performance tuning:

 1) The recommended total MaxConnections is 62 for MG 2.1 (total of admin,
site, client)

But the default server config.ini has 100 MaxConnections for
[ClientConnectionProperties] is this just a bad setting?
Is this theoretical or could a regular few-core server hit this limit?

 2) The recommended QueueSize is greater than (MaxConnections -
ThreadPoolSize)

But the default server config.ini for MG 2.1 has 100 MaxConnections and 20
for ThreadPoolSize for [ClientConnectionProperties] and only 40 QueueSize...
is this just a bad setting?

Is this going to do harm (or just theoretical)?

Should the MaxConnections for [ClientConnectionProperties] should just be 30
(keeping total to 60) and then the QueueSize 40 < (30 - 20)

 3) Finally, I should know but can someone put into clear language the
difference between the [ClientConnectionProperties] and
[ServerConnectionProperties]

thanks - Crispin
