Why not just avoid the hassles and use a real database? MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc... All of these have free versions that would be far more robust.

Yes I installed the 64-bit version.
I had to rollback the 2.2 installation. And before I try it again I need a few clarifications.
In your blog you mention that in office 2010 odbc drivers... we have 2007 installed in the office. Does it still apply?
Alongside Meastro3 I also have MapGuideStudio 2009 and here it´s possible to chose to connect to
(*.mdb) which gives me a connection string like:
Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=%MG_DATA_FILE_PATH%ABB_stationer.mdb;Uid=;Pwd=;
Or (*.mdb,*.accdb) giving me
Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};Dbq=%MG_DATA_FILE_PATH%ABB_stationer.mdb;Uid=;Pwd=;
This didn't work.
Do I need to install the 64-bit drivers for Micrsoft Access Databases on my machine where MapGuide is running? Will that help? Or do I need a complete office installation, which I don't have?
/Peter

Did you install the 64-bit version of MapGuide?
If so, you have to tweak the connection string (either via the XML Editor,
or by the RawConnectionString mode in the ODBC editor) so that it uses the
Microsoft Access 2010 ODBC drivers. Maestro can't do this automatically for
you because there's no way currently to determine the "bit-ness" of the
MapGuide Server it's connecting to.
More info on my blog:

As for the Unmanaged sub-editor not working in Maestro 3? Yeah that is a
defect which I'll look into.
