thank you friend, ive done the steps, im able to load the maps, but not as
required. what i need to do now is highlight the areas which the user has
selected and according to the selected city names i need to show the
shortest path(route)...

Do i need to jump to PHP, POSTGRE programming on the web layout which has
been built or is there something else which i need to do
