Oh, it works great with Basic Web Layout - but I don't think there is a URL
parameter to dynamically pass the map name to the Basic Web Layout to test -
I have been doing some experimenting and I think the issue is this.

- Initial map is in Meters (downtown city map)
- Swap the map for an Inches map (Building Floor Plan)

The rooms are selectable until zoom in (they are still selectable but not
visibly - selected just in Selection Widget)

I think I am going to have to redraw the downtown city map into an inches
scale that follows the bounds of one of the buildings.  
I tested this out and set the initial map to be one of the buildings and
that fixes the issue.  

 I find it weird that the only manifestation of the whole issue is that the
selection overlay (blue selection)does not appear...  I have tried
unselecting the "Selection as Overlay" in Maestro but that is not part of
issue.
