I was so happy to see the subject in your thread thinking that finally,
someone found the pot of gold...and so sad to open your thread and see the
big question mark.  Just want to include the previous thread that I started
regarding the GDAL provider:

Are you seeing similar issues (what version are you using win32, win64,
etc)?
