hello, fix this error, it is not the cause, but ubuntu install 11.10 again,
mginstallubuntu.sh.
  uninstall fdo-core
  install one by one the fdo with
sudo dpkg-i-fdo-rdbms_3.7.0 4308_i386.deb
sudo dpkg-i-fdo-postgis_3.7.0 4308_i386.deb
etc.
and the connection worked.
I hope to help if they feel the same.
