You would have to update all references to the F_ tables if you want mapguide
to see that table anyway.  I would recommend using a new database to load
your files directly.  

The downside is that you can't take advantage of the F_ schemas for lookup
tables/etc.

If you already have that table definition in the F_ tables you should be
able to just update the existing table, as long as the coordinate system and
all the fields are the same.  Make sure the F_ table names and columns match
what is in the new table (even field types).
