[mapguide-users] cannot change layer attribute field display names in maestro

I cannot change layer attribute field display names in maestro.  I change
them in the grid, hit save, but they do not persist.  Feature source is a
shapefile.  Everything else in mapguide and maestro works perfectly.

Using Mapguide 2.2.0.5703 and Maestro 4.0.0.6359.  I have also tried the
newest Masetro version as well with same result.  I have also edited XML
directly via Maestro.  I can change all other attributes of the layer, and
persist changes in maestro just fine.  Just not the field display names.

Any ideas on how to fix it?
