Just a thought...since you are offering this code to the mapguide user
community, perhaps you can add a short page to the wiki:

http://trac.osgeo.org/mapguide/wiki/CodeSamples

so that all users may be able to find it in the future.  Perhaps a better
place for the actual code will be github, but you can just link to it from
the wiki.
