I just tried to connect to a KML file using OGR provider (MGOS 2.4) and
could not connect to feature source (FDO errors).  So perhaps as the threads
discusses, the OGR FDO provider packaged with MGOS still has not been
compiled with KML support.

The other option is using King.KML open source FDO provider:

http://www.sl-king.com/FdoKML/FdoKML.html

I haven't used this, maybe someone else can chime in with any further
information about using that FDO provider...
