[mapguide-users] Legend text defintion is not displayed in the legend

When you are requesting a legend icon, it uses whatever symbolization
settings present under the point/line/area/composite rule definition along
with a basic sample geometry to render an approximation of what a stylized
feature would look like at that layer and scale.

Because your AreaRule has no symbolization settings (it's labels only),
there nothing for the legend rendering to work with. 

Does MapGuide in such circumstances, try to approximate what the label looks
like instead as a legend icon? Sadly, the answer is currently: No.
