Yes, but the codestream for the search zooming is in yet another location. 
It is contained in mapguide.js.  Attached are two different versions of
mapguide.js where this issue is fixed.  Look at the ZoomTo function.  One of
the attached files zooms to a fixed scale (like the previous fix for point
selection zooming) and the other one zooms to the point at the maximum scale
for that layer.  Again, be careful using these files with whatever version
of MGOS/AIMS you're using.
