[mapguide-users] WMS GetFeatureInfo as Tooltip in AjaxViewer

By definition you won't be able to do this. A WMS is a Web Map Service
i.e. it only returns a  raster output.

To enable a tool tip you would to consume a WFS (Web Feature Service),
which returns the objects.

is there a way I can show  a GetFeatureInfo of an object from an
external WMS service? 

I think there is no easy way to do this because the WMS FeatureSource is
consumed by a RasterLayerDefinition that has no tooltip option. Am I
correct in assuming this? 

Has anyone done a GetFeatureInfo by extending the AjaxViewer? Would this
be possible?

Any thoughts are welcome!
