Hi Jackie,
I am getting a similar error on Centos:

[root at localhost bin]# ./apachectl start

/usr/local/mapguideopensource-3.0.0/webserverextensions/apache2/bin/httpd:
error while loading shared libraries: libpcre.so.0: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory
