[mapguide-users] Selection not cleared server-side

Hi,

when using the AjaxViewer and trying to clear a selection the selection is
not cleared server-side. 
This is related to MGOS 2.6 and the preview release of MGOS 3.0. 

I posted detailed steps to reproduce this problem in ticket  2548

bug.
