[mapguide-users] REST Tile creation crops labels and symbols

Hi,

when using the REST extension (MGOS 3.0) I realized that point labels and
symbols are cropped at the borders of the tiles. This doesn't happen with
the common tile service.

I suppose the reason is that the REST extension use the RenderMap method
instead of RenderTile or RenderTileXYZ of MgRenderingService. Therefore it
doesn't take respect of the TileExtentOffset-Setting in serverconfig.ini.

What's the reason for not using RenderTile or the new RenderTileXYZ method
in the REST extension?
I think that this issue could be a blocker for some users.
