I see  you are making some changes to QueryMapFeatures and it looks like you
will be able to append and do selections without geometry.

will this be in a format of XML?
if so will it be 
<SELECTION>
  <LAYERLIST>
     <LAYER>
        <LAYERNAME>g_hydrants</LAYERNAME>
        <FDOFILTER>GISID IN ('HY1','HY2','HY3','HY99')</FDOFILTER>
     </LAYER>
  </LAYERLIST>
</SELECTION>

I am curious about the format if I am correct about trying to read what I
found changed (not great at navigating repos or reading php, part-time
programmer doing advanced leg work)
I'm hoping it does do the FDO FILTER so we can do Buttons Like Zoom All from
a report (i.e. IN LIST) and Zoom Individual.

I never found out how to make a FeatureSource available in the Runtimemap
REPO or figured out if it was possible with REST
