No, you can't share Repository. It is locked by mgserver.exe process.

The only way is migrating Repository between nodes. I'm using Maestro
Migrate functionality for migrating Repository items (with dependencies)
between Mapguide nodes.

Recently I have been working a lot on scaling out our MG project and 
Migrating (syncing) repository is the only way if you want to put multiple
MG behind some load balancer (e.g. HaProxy).
