Thank you so much for the kind reply. I will try my best to answer your questions!

 I am trying to use the program to create a map and then print it on a  on a laser printer (glowforge pro}.  I am not running Maestro, I have a Surface pro running the latest  version of windows, updated today . I want to be able to put in the lat and long and create very specific maps for framing. I think that covers everything? I haven’t made any headway other than crashing the programs I do have, sooo…

Hi Kathy,

First of all, please don't be sorry asking questions. Second, would you
please be more specific on what are you trying to accomplish?

Are you using Maestro, and if so, what version are you using?

What's your MapGuide version and environment (windows OS version or other
OS)?

Why are you trying to enter "coordinates" into the "program"? Are you using
Fusion (Flexible Layout)?
