I don't think it came across that way either.

However, I think that it's important to note that Tom and the other
Autodesk folks are really trying to be sensitive to the open process,
and are probably worried about coming across as heavy handed.  I find
this fairly encouraging, though I hope that it doesn't limit open
discussion (arguments?) :)
