The problem was caused by a LineBuffer of size 0 being created. The 0 comes from the clipping code which sometimes clips a polygon out completely. The fix is to check for attempts to create LineBuffers of size 0 and bump it up to 2 points minimum. This will prevent the array resizing code from breaking.
