Code to create the archives was not being called when the log parameters changed.  Also code for extracting the archive specifier was inserting the two digit date as part of the filename is changed such that the the filename and the specifier are identified.  The active log file names now match what is specified in the configuration pages.  The archive frequency functionality is working as designed, and the log archives are being created as designed.
