1) Connect to a mapguide server with a FDO Oracle Provider and associated Oracle client. 
2) Querying the features ( i.e. using the FeatureReader interface) in a  specific Map on a Oracle database will result in an crash for the server on Linux 
(Linux platform : Red Hat ES 3.0 )

The problem arises as we have an assert in the server code base if an exception is thrown while accessing ReadNext() on the FeatureReader interface for FDO.  
Technically, only the Oracle provider throws an exception if you access ReadNext() again after it return false and on Linux the assert causes the server to crash.
