[mapguide-users] Does MapGuide support Geocoding?

MapGuide Open Source does not directly support geocoding.  The commercial
version is not out yet, but I doubt that it will directly support it either.
Take a look at the sample applications that you can download or view it
here: http://data.mapguide.com/mapguide/phpviewersample/ajaxviewersample.php

Under the Tasks menu, go to Find Address.  Enter an address and it then
geocodes it using the web service at geocoder.us.  The returned lat lon is
then used to go to that point using the MGOS and FDO API's.  You could
integrate any other geocoding engine that you see fit.  Geocoding is built
into Oracle 10g Spatial, for instance.
