You should look at the sample code in buffer.php (under the mapviewerphp
folder).  It creates a buffer layer from the selection.

How can I create a buffer with code, when I have the Id's of the object
that need to be selected?

 

So steps would be:

 

1.	select the objects with the id's received (through parameters)
and De-select previously selected objects. 
2.	set fill style color and buffer width 
3.	create buffer 

 

Anybody that can help get this going?
