[mapguide-users] Keymaps with the new MG technology

It certainly would be possible, I just have not seen it done by anyone to
date. It may be part of the forthcoming "Fusion" product from DM Solutions,
but I have not seen that product yet either. I'm sure that a lot of people
care about this type of functionality, including two-way navigation
interaction with the main map. Implementation wise, using a div in the
existing template frameset or using a floating div may work. An easy way to
do this would be to create and update the keymap using mapagent
OPERATION=GETMAPIMAGE parameters with the view center X and Y and view scale
determined programmatically based on the current state of the main map.

Hmmm, no responses, so I can only assume:
    a) This isn't possible?
    b) Nobody has tried this?
    c) Nobody cares? ;-)

I'd really like to try to implement a 'Google' style keymap.
I think this could maybe be done within a div block in the mapframe?
Essentially just an image showing a larger area than the main map... no
need for navigating in the keymap like on the Google map.

Any ideas/comments/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just wondering if anybody has implemented a system that utilizes a 'keymap'.

We did this quite frequently with 6.5, and just curious how we might tackle
this now?

Thanks for any insight.
