[mapguide-users] PNG vs GIF and Petitions too slow?

Well, The client tell to the server in the url the parameters he need.

Try to search in the file ajaxmappane.templ in c:\Program
Files\MapGuideOpenSource\WebServerExtensions\www\viewerfiles\

at the line 1393, you can see:

url = webAgent + "?OPERATION=GETDYNAMICMAPOVERLAYIMAGE&FORMAT=PNG ... <--so
FORMAT=GIF will send the image in gif format.
