[mapguide-users] SDF file won't load in Studio. File too big?

Beyond a certain size, you'll run into memory limits and timeouts in PHP, or equivalent process timeouts in IIS or Apache.  These are pretty difficult to work around.
 
Have you looked at creating a package and loading it through either the admin studio or the command-line utilities I hacked together a while back?

Another option would be to load a small SDF file with the same name and structure, and then replace it on the server with the larger one.
