Server doesn't start on SUSE 9.3

Hi,

After  seemingly successfull installation I got the lines shown below and the server doesn't start.
My system is a SUSE Linux 9.3. Any advice please....

/usr/local/mapguideopensource/server/bin /usr/local/mapguideopensource/server/bin
Running the server interactively as an application instead of as a service.
(14935|1128254016) The specified service is not supported.
Exception occurred in method CreateService at line 211 in file Services/SiteConnection.cpp
