Has anyone got mapguide os working on Suse10?

Hi List,
 
I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who has managed to get mapguide compiled and installed on Suse 10, because I have hit a brick wall with it. Replies to previous posts I have made to the list (that I won't rehash here) suggest it might be a problem with the version of gcc that I am using, but I am using gcc 4.0.2, so I would be grateful to know if anyone has had success with other versions. 
 
I would even like to hear from people who had no problems whatsoever- as it would give me something to work towards!
