sdf point type problems

Hi all,
I have worked a lot with SDF point type in MapGuide 6.5
I have also developed a dynamic solution over Iternet with sdf component
toolkit
I now have different problems  
the first one is that the dimension of the symbols remains always the same
one when the map is zoomed  (in MapGuide 6.5 there was the window Size Units
(Units for symbol and text size))
the second is to find in vbnet 2.0 the api for add, modify, search and
delete the points
 
any idea to help me?
