[mapguide-users] multiline labels

Just to clarify, the DWF viewer does support multi-line labels, but you
need to use a two-character sequence (the backslash character followed
by the lowercase n character) to indicate the line break, as opposed to
a single newline (ASCII code 10) character.

This is a known defect with the AJAX Viewer. Multi-line labels are
handled correctly if you use DWF Viewer.

Subject: [mapguide-users] multiline labels

Hi all,

I have some a field associated with a feature source that I am using as
labels. Some of these fields would display better on multiple lines. I
have tried replicating the label field in my feature source and adding
new line characters (\n) where I would like the line breaks. However,
these characters dont result in a line break and just get output along
with the rest of the label contents.

If it makes a difference, I am using MapGuide in a the c# .net
environment with the ajax viewer. Are multiline labels supported?

Thanks,

Greg
