Hi Antonio,
 
I'm assuming that you're using Enterprise?  There is a HUGE performance difference between the rdbms drivers in MGOS 1.0.1 and 1.0.2, and I'm pretty sure that you'll see the same benefit if you upgrade your Map 3D to SP3 (read about the performance improvements in the SP readme) and your MapGuide Enterprise to SP1... when it's released.  It gets more Q/A than the open source release, which is a large part of what you're paying for with Enterprise.
 
I believe that a lot of the changes are around FDO connection pooling and changes in the way that the schema is requested in the rdbms providers.  Haris has noted that it has made a big difference for the open source King.Oracle provider.

I'm testing my project  changing  sdf based layers to fdo mysql or sql
server as data sources. I'm loading data from Autodesk Map 3D 2007 and
authoring with Studio but the performance is very very bad. It seems
that fdo provider for relational database  works  slow.
