Thank you Andy.
If you can share your "problematic data", I am willing to test it.

Subject: RE: [mapguide-users] New Oracle FDO provider
I've had pretty good luck with it. I am using client 10.1.0.2 and Haris
put together the Oracle Instant Client fix for that case. I've found
that it will show feature classes for all of my spatial data, so maybe
you do have some issues in the MDSYS metadata tables. I've also found
that this provider is quite a bit faster than the MapGuide Enterprise
Oracle Spatial provider and will display some polygonal data that the
Autodesk provider would not (Autodesk is working on that one). However,
I did find that it would not display all of the geometry that it should,
but zooming in would display it. So, it looks like some sort of maximum
object or other ceiling is being reached preventing it from displaying
further objects.
All in all, way to go Haris and please keep up the good work.

After a quick try... I got a succesful connection in MG Studio, but when
trying to create a layer, I get no feature classes listed, so either the
tables I have in the Oracle server are all weird or something else is
going on... I'll try to call the provider directly from a test program
to see if I get any data back.

Hi ,
I am working on new FDO provider for Oracle.
You can read more about it and download it here:
www.sl-king.com/fdooracle
It is not open source project yet, but it is free to use.
I would appreciate if you try it and if you give me some feedback.
Regards,
Haris Kurtagic
