Great. Yes, right now no coord sys info.

Yup, I got it to work fine now. I just tried a few different tables
until it worked. Yes, I also had to set the data extents manually,
probably because of the lack of coord sys information.

Right now provider is not reporting to mapguide coordinate reference
system.
So you can use data with ( SRID NULL, arbitrary x-y).

OK, if I connect with the user who owns the data, I see the correct
feature classes and attributes listed. But now, I don't see any geometry
(even after zooming to the place where I expect the data to appear).
It's probably my fault still, since my knowledge of Oracle is about 3
bits, and I probably have messed up tables.

Thanks for first respons.
To see table, table has to be listed user_sdo_geom_metadata view.

This means that username (oracle schema) you are using to connect to
Oracle has to be owner of tables and metadata is inserted in the
metadata view.

Righ now I am working on reading tables from all_sdo_geom_metadata view
so you will be able to see all tables you have select permission.

After a quick try... I got a succesful connection in MG Studio, but when
trying to create a layer, I get no feature classes listed, so either the
tables I have in the Oracle server are all weird or something else is
going on... I'll try to call the provider directly from a test program
to see if I get any data back.

Hi ,
I am working on new FDO provider for Oracle.
You can read more about it and download it here:
www.sl-king.com/fdooracle

It is not open source project yet, but it is free to use.

I would appreciate if you try it and if you give me some feedback.

Regards,
Haris Kurtagic
