I'm not sure if this is fixed yet as I was not involved in this defect.
I am currently developing with the latest FDO (R069) with MapGuide SP1
and if I get a chance I'll try your use case below.
Build 1.01.17812 still uses FDO R050. See below:

OK, This might be a dumb question but does that mean it's supposed to be
fixed in 1.01.17812?

Adam,
This is a known bug with the FDO R050 that was released with the
MapGuide 1.0 release.

Subject: [mapguide-users] Deleting Feature Data Problems
Hi,
I am not sure if this is a bug or my error but when I try to use:
Dim deleteFilter As String = "PRIMARYINDEX = " & objectId
actionCommands.Add(New MgDeleteFeatures("actions", deleteFilter))
' Execute the "delete" commands
featureService.UpdateFeatures(resourceIdentifier, actionCommands, False)
My MgServer service dies and I have to restart it. Also the feature is
not deleted from the feature source.
I am successfully using MgInsertFeatures against this feature source so
I don't think it is a permissions issue. Anyway any ideas would be
greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Adam Herbert
