[MapProxy-dev] status of Dimensions caching PR

Hi MapProxy PSC: as per [1], I think this PR is ready for another round
of review?  Note that we are also looking into style caching [2], which
but wanted to get dimensions caching into core first.

Any comments or recommendations to help move forward this PR
are appreciated.
