[MapProxy] Some questions regarding Tilecache

Hi,
Mapproxy sounds very promising. Can Mapproxy supports the OL tilecache
format (
http://trac.openlayers.org/browser/trunk/openlayers/lib/OpenLayers/Layer/TileCache.js#L102)
? If yes, then it would mean that it is possible to use Mapproxy as a tile
reprojector for existing tile sets. Is it right ?
