[MapProxy] WMS GeoTIFF image format question

Hi,

I have a question concerning the WMS image formats. I added 
image/geotiff to the image_formats of the wms service definition and my 
request to the service is returning a tiff image. Unfortunately it is 
missing the "geo" part, which means there're no coordinates delivered 
with it. I tested this with QGIS. The source is a mapnik xml file. So my 
question is now, why there're no coordinates with the geotiff?
