[MapProxy] color depth reduction

It's shame you don't post your yaml, but I suggest:



globals:
  image:
    formats:
      png24:
        format: image/png
        mode: RGBA
        colors: 0
        transparent: false
        resampling_method: bicubic


And use this image format in your cache settings.


BTW are you using PNG format for air/satellite imagery consciously?

See the swimming pool's blue color transition. 
  

Any suggestions setting the image properties?


  On the original geotiffs the color transition is smooth.
