Hello

Yes I would be interested – we have our Mapproxy in Amazon.
Will it be rolled into one the next versions?

Best regards

Subject: [MapProxy] Mapproxy cache in S3

Hello,

I am interested in caching tiles in Amazon S3 and did exhumate the following issue https://github.com/mapproxy/mapproxy/issues/19 by walkermatt.
The code given in the issue, works fine for my setting, which is reprojecting from one WMTS to another WMTS (which is cached in S3).

I have done some very simple performance tests, and the results are comparable to mapcache. The overhead to store a tile in S3 is about 70-100%, but once in S3, it is something like 15-20% against a tile in a file or varnish cache, which is not bad.

Anyone is interested ?

Regards,

Marc
