[MapProxy] Max file size for mapproxy.yaml

Is there a max file size for mapproxy.yaml? Is there a way to test/check to see if the file size is causing mapproxy to crash?
I have scripts that creates entries in my mapproxy.yaml file. All works well but at some point as the file size grows I start to get errors when the file is being read. I have been using the demo page to verify that my map layers are working. When things go bad, I get a 500 error in my browser. Looking in the my httpd ssl_error_log file, I see the follow error messages:
