[MapProxy] How do I get these tile sets overlayed with transparency?

But I already had read all of these examples. Unfortunately they are
templates using fake urls.
About this particular example: I don't use Open Layers. And Mapproxy
does not overlay the tiles by itself for me.
I here only replaced example.org from the mentioned example with an
existing osm tile service and added a second layer:

When you visit the demo service, you see only one layer.
