Thanks for the link. It looks good, but it doesn't do pretty much and it is unclear how you can interact with the map later.

I think the html: and anchor: stuff (http://code.google.com/p/jquery-googlemap/ Full option set) is nice. I'm still undecided if it is a nice hack or really nice, though :)
