[MapQuery] Polish on the outside

Hi,
I am only a lurker apart from helping to maintain this list. It may help
to add some more information on the outside to make us better findable
by other folks. Therfore I edited the mailman start page and added:
"A terse phrase identifying this list" into: "Development of a jQuery
based mapping env." Please suggest something better.

There is also a little more to expose on the mailman page, they suggest:

"An introductory description - a few paragraphs - about the list. It
will be included, as html, at the top of the listinfo page. Carriage
returns will end a paragraph - see the details for more info."

Please add something so that one of the admins can post it on the site.
