[Mapserver-dev] Mapserver Questions

Hi,

I'm interesting in hacking mapserver to use in a project where I work -
I had a couple questions:

- I know mapserver is not threadsafe, precluding its use in the dynamic
php module. I saw on the mailing list that some work has been done to
fix this, but it's not done yet. Who should I talk to to get the current
status, or to offer help?

- I've experimented with Tom Poindexter's tools to edit maps. Are there
similar tools that are under development or being planned for other
widget sets (Gtk+/ Qt / Motif)?
