[Mapserver-dev] WFS and GetFeatureInfo (WMS) on Oracle

Hi Daniel,

Frank always states that the Oracle Spatial connection through OGR must be
significantly slower than the native Mapserver approach because of the
feature model translation.

But perhaps it is time to test how big this difference in performance is
before taking the step to add code. Will keep you posted on this as I will
try to set up a performance comparison in the near future.
