It seems that we have implemented our (slightly) different solutions
at almost the same time: I did my research about existing solutions
and made my first implementation begin of October only a few days
before your solution has been made :-) What a pity that I missed the
discussion on the bug tracker (it seems that the bug tracker is not
searched by google but that you have to use the bug tracker's search
function to get this information).

Thanks for providing the implementation. This makes it needless to
discuss the open issues of my last email...
